spark problem....??? 700 1988

After I posted I went ahead and changed the coil...interestingly enough...I found the cheapest source to be the dealer (not mention the only source with one in stock :)

I did not change the HT lead, though.

Believe me...the rotor is in there, and it's my experience that it only goes on one way. I have disassemble, checked, rechecked, and reassembled the entire cockamamie thing several times!!!

I see how a new set of wires works out? If that doesn't help...hello Mr. corner garage mechanic.

With my luck it will end up being weak "wet" gas. Actually a $.50 bottle of dry gas might be a good idea, huh?

I have also recently been experiencing some intermittent electrical problems that "jiggling the key" resolves...anything in there that might arrest spark through the cap and rotor?
