many thanks to y'all!

it seems that the connectors of the battery needed cleaning. the battery itself is quite new (purchased in march '01). But I still wonder how is it connected to the headlamps? I drove the car today without touching or adjusting any electrical instruments except the fan. It drove well until I parked the car to my parking space and tested the light switch again.

Turned the lights off, shut the car down, and then tried to ignite again but again, no good. Could it be that the rigt headlamp is close to the battery has something to do with it?
