760s with v6 700

The PRV6 is no match for the legendary red block 4's, but with proper, regular maintenance it should stand up quite well. I think one of the reasons it's so maligned in the US market is that the people who would get an old 4-cyl Volvo and drive another 100K without maintenance found they couldn't do that to a V6 without expensive parts breaking. Try to get the later B280F, it fixed the main problem with the PRV6 (rather marginal oil ways to the cam). I recently drove one, and when in proper tune it is quite a pleasant engine to live with. A turbo may be quicker, but I rather like the low-revving quiet nature of larger engines.
