Control arm bushings/ has anyone done it out there?,/ check out my sweet 245TI! 200 1984

I'm contemplating renewing the bushings on my control arms. This past weekend I replaced my control arms on this car and I reckon I could do the control arm bushing job too. I've got a 245 turbo. I'm thinking that I'll go to a junkyard and take the control arms off of another 240 and have the old bushing taken off and new ones installed then install the replacement control arms with new bushes on the 245..

Does this sound logical? Has anyone removed the bushes without a press? How should I proceed?

Anyhow I just got this really great '84 245ti, the PO did a b230 intake mod on it, rebuilt the engine, new harness etc. this weekend I did the air intake mod on it as per turbobricks.org, it is so nice, swallows up the kids and the dog.

Selling two 242ti's check them out at:
