Head Gasket Suggestions in NA CIS Car 200 1980

Have a B21F that needs a new head gasket (oil in coolant, obvious leak on left side of engine, down the block). Any hints or tricks since this is a CIS car (injectors in head -- not manifold)? I've heard a few vagueries from friends who can never really explain why a Normally Aspirated CIS head gasket is such a bigger pain to change than any other HG.

While it's out, I'll replace the water pump and its seals (mostly because I just happen to have one sitting around collecting dust and the one in the car is starting to have a little play in the bearing). T-Belt and front seals have less than 700 miles on them. Other than the valve cover gasket, what else should I consider? Exhaust port gaskets? Intake manifold gaskets? Check the head for warpage, too. Anything else? Like to do the minimum safe, but not come across too lazy. Thx.
