Front and Rear Door Panel 900 1996

The door panels on my 240 are held on by little white clips that go into holes in the sheet metal of the door. I doubt that your car is much different. Try looking at the space between the edge of the door panel and the sheet metal of the door when you pull the panel away from the door. You should be able to see the little clips. A flat screwdriver is a good way to get some leverage to do this. The clips will pop out of place and you can do your repair and then the pop back in. Don't pull too hard, or you will leave a clip in the sheetmetal when you pull the panel off. You'll then need to take some pliers to pull it out (there are probably 10-15 clips per door panel, so if you loose a few it isn't a big deal).
