Flame Trap Q?..Pls.bear w/ me.. 700 1986

Ok, so I bought a flame trap kit and read the 700/900FAQ (lot'sa times..I
promise you my IQ is normally higher) and the only thing I was able to do was this;1)check and clean the bronze fitting on top of the intake manifold(yes,
it's clean and not clogged, just light clean mobil one)2)check and cleaned the
small vacuum hose(clean, not clogged nor brittle)that attached to the bronze
fitting on one side and connected to the flame guard(?),that sits between
3rd and 4th injectors, on the other.3)the flame guard (brass)has a small
fitting to take the small hose and a large fitting to take the bigger hose
the other end of which is connected to the big intake hose just after the
AMM...Passed the jiggle test...Does this sound right to you ??? Thanks in
Advance..Reysc
