Was the spigot bearing replaced as well as the throwout bearing ?
If not, and it is worn / seized it will cause clutch drag and noise when there is relative movement between the clutch plate and flywheel.
If you need to replace it it is a standard metric bearing ( # 6202 I think )that you can get very cheaply from your local bearing supplier.
