Odometer quit working after resetting Service light---fixed it!! 900 1993

Recently my Service light came on, so I removed the little rubber plug in the speedo area and pushed the reset. Going to the lumberyard this a.m. I notice the odometer was not working. Thought I had broken something. Removed the plug and pushed the reset button a couple of times and when I drove off it once again worked. This is a mechanical reset, so it may need more than one push to get it and all gears reset and once again meshing.

Thought someone may experience this sometime. FYI
