m46...rounded fill plug! 700

I have a rounded off fill plug on my m46 tranny that i didn't notice until AFTER I drained the old fluid. It looks as if the #%### po used a set of vice grips to get it off last time and really munged it up. So now I have my 740 up in the air on two pair of Rhino ramps and no tranny fluid. I have been dousing it with PB and tomorrow I will apply heat to the area of tranny case around the fill plug and try again to remove it. In the meantime, if anyone has any more suggestions I would LOVE to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Dan

p.s. how come 10 minute jobs always bite you?
