Hi Dan:
I agree with you about the ten minute jobs. It gets to where I tell the wife "well, in theory its an easy job...."

One option is to take a file and square up the plug again so you can fit a socket wrench or a box end wrench on it. I do think that the PB Blaster will help.

(PS when I first changed the manual tranny oil in my car repair class at the community college the instructor said to always take the fill cap off before you take the drain cap off. Now I know why!)
