83 242 turbo

Its definitely possible, but not worth it. The B21 non turbo is a higher compression engine, which isn't very tolerant of turbo boost. You'd be able to run a low pressure turbo at around 4-5psi in there, but not much more without doing crazy modifications. If you changed out the pistons for turbo pistons, the compression would drop to proper spec. After this was done you couldn't crank the boost up much anyways because the non turbo head doesn't have the special turbo valves for removing heat properly. Then there's the whole integrating the turbo with the carburetor which is even more trouble. All in all, more trouble than it's worth. If you need a B21FT, I know a parts yard (in central Florida) with one. Good luck.
