Monday April 29, 2002 - Track Day at Thunderhill Raceway

Golden Gate Chapter of VCOA will rent the track at Thunderhill for a high performance-driving event. Thunderhill is a 1.7 mile road course about 70 miles north of Sacramento on Highway 5. It is a challenging but safe track. No racing. It is a chance to drive fast and see if those sway bars are working. This will be our third outing at Thunderhill, and it is about as much fun as you can have in a car. Your car does not have to be race prepared or modified. Normal highway safety equipment is required and you will need a helmet. Helmets can be rented at Thunderhill. There will be instructors available for you and we separate cars by performance potential. You can bring your 544 or C-70 and have a positive experience. This will cost $150 per driver and you need to make reservations now if you are interested because the event will sell out.
