Requesting advice about blown head gasket 200 1981

I have an '81 240 that got sick a few weeks ago... We presume that it's the head gasket due to the frothy, chocolate milkish oil and excessively smoky exhaust combined with a coolant seep out of the engine. Is it worth it to fix the head gasket on an older car or is it better to send her off to the great volvo junkyard in the sky? Additionally, what should it cost to fix the head gasket?
