BAD service at FCP Groton 200

I had ordered a transmission pan gasket for my 1986 244DL (ATM)on thursday, January 3, and was promised that it would go out priority mail. I called back on Tuesday because I had not gotten it and was told to expect it any day. I called back on thursday January 10 and was told that it had NOT gone out as promised, but by UPS ground.

I bicycled over to NAPA on my bicycle and got the gasket for $3.25.

The next day, Friday January 11 UPS delivered some weird paper semicircle gasket which certainly was NOT what I ordered. No way was this a transmission gasket.

I am curious - this was a great place to get parts - so much so that it didn't even occur to me to get my parts locally. But this was such a royal screw-up (not only did the part not arrive on time, it was not even the right part!) I have to ask myself what has happened to this vendor. Are these folks having a problem with employees on drugs? Poor morale? Sabotage from competitors? I could excuse one error, but three in one order is just too much.

Anyone else having problems with them?
