Wiring Harness

One thing you might want to consider is that there's a Volvo guy from California who grabs good harnesses at pick-n-pulls and posts them on eBay and/or on this site's classifieds. I've heard the fellow is very reputable; he's a VCOA person from way back, and I believe his name is Dave Shannon. I may be mistaken about his name -- my brain is getting fuzzy these days. Anyway, they normally go for about $100.

Alternatively -- you can roll your own. I did one on my K-jet B21 (n.a.) several years ago -- cost about 8 relaxed hours and about $50 for colored wire spools, connectors, solder, and heat shrink. I've got enough supplies left over to do another one. This approach enables you to re-route wires away from hot zones to protect the insulation. You can also wrap the wires in the flexible split loom.
