Throttle Adjustment vs shift points 700 1989


uh... you do realize that most 700s, including my 1985 745t, get 25+ mpg for highway driving, right?

I can't help you with the adjustments, but it sounds like maybe your knock sensor or something else is shot and adversly affecting your mileage. That is, of course, assuming that you are not talking about mileage driving around the streets of a city like New York or something.
