780 Purchase more info 700

Hey Bricksters,

Here is more of the story to the used Brick, I am going to purchase this car, however here is why I am stuck. I have a 2000 Kia Sephia(I know, bought it cause of warranty and it was cheap at the time also got to defer payments will 2001, bought it new it only has 14,000 on it:-(). So I have a car I owe $8500 on that is worth $6000, KBB and the Volvo dealer offered me that much for it WoooHooo.. So I am in the whole for $2500 right there. I want to pay off my credit cards that have around $8000 on them. So if I get a Home Equity Loan or a 2nd Mortage, I would get $10,500 and pay both things off. Get the Kia out of my life and pay off my credit card. In the long run its a HELL of a lot cheaper, from the intrest rate to not having to pay thru the roof for insurance. But for some reason I feel nervous and I dont know why.. Any thoughts on this, or words of peace?

Thanks
Paul
