my wagon had an intermittent stalling problem which caused the car to shutter and finally die without notice at any time. it would then start up after a rest and die shortly down the road. the car will not start at all. the fuel pumps have to be manually run so i replaced the fuel pump relay and the problem is still there. i know the coil is good. could it be a bad distributor causing the car to quit and now not even start? i am lost an dont have the $$ for a mechanic to diagnose and then leave me with a huge bill. i have a distributor off a 78 240 would that work? the volvo is an 82 245 with bosch ignition and k jet injection. any help would be great because the car is sitting at a friends house and dont want him to start to think i am never goin to move it. thanks
