If you wuz a bett'n man...'84 240 rust... 200

Seeing as how I just moved to Merry-land from the deeeeep south where there is little salt on the roads in winter I am concerned about RUST eating my car.

Where are the most likely spots on a 84 240 DL for rust to form?

I am most concerned with those hard to see areas where water drains off the car (though the body), areas hidden by trim, floor boards, seams in the sheet metal, doors, fenders, etc.

I know older mercedes have a couple classic rust prone areas. Are volvos similar?

Has your car started to show rust spots due to old age and exposure? If so where?

I want to prevent as much rust as I can.

Thanks ya'll!

Kivec.
