Has anyone noticed... 200 1986

...that their heat is less effective after installing the Nissens radiator? I installed one of these several months ago w/the "red" 5yr coolant and now that it has started to get really cold here in Calif., I noticed that my heater isn't getting nearly as hot as before. Used to be that it could make you sweat bullets turned only half way up...now I turn it all the way to the right and it's maybe half as hot on a good day. Thinking maybe it has to do with the increased size & capacity of the new rad, i.e. there is less coolant to circulate thru the heater core. Or maybe my core/control valve is getting ready to buy the farm?

Anyone noticed this?

TIA,
-Jim
