Fuel line between pump & filter, how much pressure? 200 1991

When I changed the fuel filter, I kinked the hard plastic fuel line that runs between the pump and the filter. It is a hard plastic line about 3" long. When I started it up, I noticed a pin hole leak. As it was late at night, and I needed t use it the next morning, I used a rubber fuel line with band clamps. Is this going to hold? How much fuel pressure does the line have to hold? Is this line made out of something other than rubber because of the alcohol content of hi-test? (MTBE) It is holding for the time being.
Thanks -
Steve M.
