Does this clutch cable look right?? 200 1982

It looks the same as is on my 81 242. It is probably ready to break, the reason it is hard . I did not see a way to take the cable apart. For the time it takes , plus the tow truck to get it to your repair location and possible lost time , get a new one. Mine broke and it cost me due to down time. Mine was hard to push at the time . The woven cable broke in the cover out of sight.
