I live near one of the biggest volvo dealer in the country (THEY CLAIM!!) and right next to them is one of the cleanest auto recycling centers I have ever seen ! This place is amazing. A car is stripped, dismantled and the parts taged & binned in a blink of an eye. They are right next to train tracks - so out the cars go - crushed. No pick & pull for them. I am sure they will take it from me for free or give me some $ for it. (or I could trade them for four mounted snows tires - what a deal !! )

Actually, I do have a friend with a dodge 350 with tow hook - I going to have to convince him to help me - I have tows cars for him in the past..

I am going to strip some more parts - (door relays, seat belts what ever else!) and let her go. I put 40K miles on it in two years and it NEVER left me stranded- until it died in the driveway. I am afraid NONE of the engine parts will help me. even the radiator won't help my old car was a manual and the new one is auto, well at least the radiator is new.

Thanks for the advice on the springs - they will stay in the old car
