So tell me about the K-jetronic in my 240... 200 1982

After torching the engine of my crummy little CRX due to a leaky injector O-ring, I swore I'd never mess with an old car with FI. So this week I've come home with an '82 240 GL wagon! (4spd w/od) So much for that. Though not the only Volvo to enjoy my effort, see sig.

Car runs great at 192.3k, but my goal is to see it exceed 300k, if not much more. I've been busy cleaning mainly, and changing all the fluids. I think I've got a noisy fuel pump, save that for another post. Also got one bad spot on the flywheel, grinds occaisionally.

But I really want to have some in depth knowledge on this fuel system. Can anybody point me to any good sites or FAQ's? Haven't had a chance to scour numerous used book places where bentley and other manuals show up.

Only oddity in the FI now is when I'm driving, the idle will only drop down to about 1600, and I have to let the clutch out a bit in gear to have it drop down below 1k. There it will sit until I take off again, where it will resume hanging out at ~1600. No hoses obviously off, but do want to replace the brake booster hose, a little cracked.

Thanks,
J
