16 Valve Head 700

It is not straight forward, but it can be done. You need some custom parts and a willing mechanic (or you should be an advanced do it yourselfer). For some information, search for Richard Prince's Australian Volvo 740 Turbo 16V website. His application is a turbo, but the basics are the same and he can supply some of the parts you need.

It would be easier to add a turbo. I wrote up some of the details at the Turbobricks website in an article in the mods section.
