sump/oil pan leak 140-160

My 1967 144 b18A,has an oil leak from below the engine.I recently fitted a new clutch and whilst doing so changed the rear crankshaft oil seal to the neoprene type.Oil is now seeping slowly from the gap at the bottom of bellhousing/engine joint.I reckon it's the sump/oil pan gasket leaking,can anybody advise me on the easiest method of stopping this leak?Thanks,Chris Sheer,Cornwall,UK.
