Oil Reservoir For Turbo. 700

I was talking to a friend of mine who owns an early 1980s Datsun 280ZX. He said Datsun happens to have a Garrett T3 Turbo in it with the exception of being aircooled vs. water cooled. Now, he also mentioned to me that his turbo had an oil-reservoir to provide a constant supply of oil to the turbo after the engine shut off. I am very curious about this; what would it take to do something like this to a B230FT engine?
