How to get to 780 sunroof motor?? 700 1990

The electric sun roof in my 780 has stopped working. I have checked the wiring at the switch and that seems ok. The fuse is good so I want to check voltage at the motor. My question is how do I get the cover off with out breaking it? I pulled the two plastic plugs out and the cover is stubbornly attached. I have been pulling a trying to slide it forward backwards and sideways. It won’t budge! Also the fabric and foam covering is a little fragile. Does anybody know the trick to removing this cover?
