1971 142E 140-160

It's a cryin' shame Volvo didn't use orange in '71...that would be a nice choice for a special issue 142e....

A few years back I was out at the Barrett Jackson car auction in Scottsdale...it was amazing the wonderful orange cars there.. My favorite of course being an unrestored orgiginal Ferrari 365 GTB Daytona... pumpkin orange from the factory. Beautiful! There was also a nice Auburn boat tail speedster in orange/black...not to mention a bunch of hot rods and others.. I think I counted about 20 world class collector cars in orange. Unfortunately, I was far too poor to buy any, but I think it would be a real fun thing to base a cat collection on. Nothing but orange...
