Went to work today. up since 3am.

Got the head afterwork. Installed head and lifters.

The oil separator trap broke. unsure if I can get one tomorrow.

Rediscovered the "D8" stamp on the head. Yep. I bought it in Oct 98. PO crashed the head in April 98. got it half assed fixed and dumped it. to me.

Shatzer, Im sorry to hear about your Windshield squirter giving you trouble. I know you are reading this too. haha.

Rental car company..... morons...... called me on monday and wanted to know how I drove LA to Salt Lake City in 1 hour and 27 minutes. I told them to fix their GPS bullshit, the Lumina can't do MACH 2. Today they called asking where their car was, it was due back on Monday. Idiots. I rented it for a week.

Depressed, tired and broke.

Must be over $3 grand in parts now. Labor is free.

Machinist said EGR tubes through the head were so bad, they needed to snake them with a tungsten fish after hot tanking it for 30 hours. Said fix whatever it is or I'll be back.
