What are the ill effects (other than steering wheel shudder) from warped rotors?

My rotors are warped. I warped them. I overtorqued my lugnuts. DOH. I can't stand the brake shudder so I'm going to replace them, but I really want to know if I'm doing any harm by braking w/ the warped rotors...

I've been doing a lot of downshifting lately...

Also, wheres a good place to get a decent (ATE, Zimmermann, Brembo) OEM rotor for my 91 740T w/ ABS, 11.25" vented? I'm looking for pretty inexpensive (I had the mechanic do the rotors not too long ago...200 bucks down the tubes).
