exhaust question 700

The tailpipe and mufflers on my 1991 740 need to be replaced. The current stuff is all Volvo, probably the original since exhaust systems last a long time here in south Georgia. On the 700/900 FAQ, people have been please with Starla cat-back kits, which they report go on easily and cost around $250. The only place I have found a Starla cat-back kit is at the FCP Groton web-site, for about $125. I'm happy to save the money, but is this the same thing as reported in the FAQ? If not, will it work just as well? (keeping in mind that I live in a no-salt environment where even cheap mufflers last).

Thanks.
