blower motor, which side to attack from? 200 1985

I'm finishing my 84 today. The motor it removed from the drivers side (LHD) I removed the whole front dash ass. plus the supports. I also pulled the gauge cluster and the glove box. trust me for the small amount of time it takes to pull these parts, you will save in time by having accessibility to the duct work.
On my car I bought a replacement fan from Rusty at http://rprusa.com/ which included the resistor & a new switch. I had to remove the three plastic supports that held my rubber mounted motor. It was suggested that I use a dremmil grinder for this purpose, but I chose to heat a bent piece of flat steel (jigsaw blade) to red hot and cut(melt) through them. the reason is 1 I couldn't find any new cut off wheels for my dremmil. 2 I thought I could eliminate the mess. It worked out quite well. Now my fan it quiet and is very strong in all four speeds. There are short cuts you can take, but I for one think it's worth the time to do it right.
