replacing fuel pump in 90 740 700

Let me add to the excellent last post some extras: can be done as mentioned and pulled out as a whole unit removing I believe counter-clockwise and down between gap of fuel tank and trunk .you could at this point when you're in back of car pass assembly down to assistant.when I reassembled I used some vasoline to join rubber seals together-GENTLY FORCE TOGETHER till flush-you dont want to break plastic threaded ring when tightening. good luck and patience. mark
