I am a speedo Geru 200 1987

Just finished fixing broken Odo on my daughters 240. Speedo worked fine but trip and main odo's were stopped. Traced problem to a small tiny white (actually tan colored) planetary gear in the small stepper motor mounted on a PCB on the side of the speedo unit. This motor receives timed pulses from the main Speedo PCB.
This gear was stuck on it's shaft and I suspect that is why the gear tooth stripped off. Replaced the gear with a dab of silicone lube and bingo everything worked.
