Head from B21Ti onto B230FTi?

Hey all-

Got a rebuilt head from an '83 B21 Ti that was shaved a minimal amount and 3 angle valve job plus new exhaust seals. This head is stripped- no cam, no nothing. My daily driver, '88 745Ti, is showing possible signs of bad head/head gasket. I asked the local Volvo repair place about it and the guy there said no problem other than slow drain-down on oil. He claimed to just finish the same job on his- '85 head onto newer 740. Any others out there with same luck? Any needs if importing '88 cam bearings etc into '83 head? Advice about cam-driven distributor? I've done a head swap once before on similar Kjet cars, but have never played with the cam driven distributor at all.

Thanks-
Dylan
