No help from Brickboard? 700

Bryan:

I'm not trying to be critical, seriously, but maybe if you posted your topic with the actual issue in the headline and focused on clearly and directly articulating your brick's issue in your post (rather than complaining that no one replied to your previous one) you would get more responses?

If you read through some posts they might familiarize you with how you should post. Begin with a thorough description of the background of the problem; what your car has had done to the transmission in the past, its previous performance, and the circumstances under which it began to malfunction. Next, discuss what happens in terms of specifics; does the OD light come on, do you hear a click, etc. Third, post any steps you have taken to diagnose the issue; have you checked for continuity at the solenoid, have you replaced the relay, have you examined the shifter/od buton itself, etc.

Finally, describe any conclusions you have come to regarding possible culprits (i.e., the solenoid looked like garbage when I crawled underneath) or what a mechanic you asked might have said.

I have an m46 in my 745t, so I can't really offer advice on the issue itself. However, I can state that it is only my adicition to reading about the various brick issues that arise that led me to open your post.
