I cleaned my injectors for less than $40. I purchased an O ring kit from Discount Auto parts $10 (for 8 injectors), and some Techron fuel injector cleaner $6. Then I went to Target and purchased an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner for $19. The injectors are easy to remove, check the FAQ for that. I used a spare fuel injector wire harness (mine was from a VW but most Bosch style injectors have the same plug) so I could use a 9V battery to energize the injector while it was being cleaned in the ultrasonic cleaner. This definately helped my starting problem.
