m46 output shaft seal 200 1989

The automatic died due to po neglect so I've opted to transplant an m46. I want to change the output shaft seal before installation. Went to the local dealer; the seal they referenced is not the same as what I removed. The od diameter (approx. 63-64mm, give or take for seal swell) is larger than the dealer referenced seal. The dealer suggests all m46 are the same(?) Any suggestions or info to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
