Performance increase ??? 700 1990

Even without the cam, the car should be running a lot faster than that. How's the compression (rings)? Running an auto or M46? I'd say even w/o the cam / gear you should be running high 14's. low 16's is absurd, as stock your car ran faster than that in 1990. Maybe when they put your head back on they messed with the gasket? Also check the timing and valves...

I've got a k&n, electric throttle and temp actuated fan, stock exhaust, automatic tranny, full interior and 12psi, and ran 14.9@95 (Ft. Wayne runoffs 2001) before I blew the turbo.
