Greetings to All. I have a 1990 740 Turbo Wagon thats having a problem. On starting, idle is REAL rough, hardly enough to keep running. Tach shows speed around 500 rpms or less. Pushing accel. pedal keeps it going and once RPMs exceed 1500 or so things smooth out. Forward motion is real slow (usually 15 mph max). Usually after engine warms up, everything is OK, idle smooths out to normal range, but a slight hesitancy remains. Also I'm hearing a 'rush' noise when letting up on the pedal. I had the turbo replaced at around 150K (car has about 160K on it now). Saw in the Turbo FAQ section about hose position/tightness etc. and have checked that. Also have checked (from the FAQs) corrosion etc. on electrical connection. The service bulletin from 1993 was done on my car so all those connections were 'greased' and not dry. Taking it to a repair place proved fruitless as they couldn't find anything as it wasn't 'broke' when it got there. Left it there for a couple of days and it didn't 'break' for them. Thinking of pursuing a couple of the ideas in the FAQ about a couple of relays that may need resoldering/checking, and am looking for some advice on if that's the right direction to go into. Thanks in advance for assistance. Regards, Chuck
