Dave L/? about check valve for WUR 200 1983

Hey Dave Lotman,
Heres my question concerning vacuum routing on 242T.You say the check valve near the WUR needs to make sure that the WUR only gets vacuum and not boost.Does that mean that when you disconnect the connection on the other side of the valve from the WUR,you should be able to suck air through the check valve from the WUR?Dont you still get boost through the other hose to the WUR that doesnt have the check valve?Im still confused about the whole WUR thing and how it affects running, but I just need to make sure the check valve is on correctly.
Thanks for the help.
RR
