fuel pump relays 1984

jackson -

There is a 25 amp fuse mounted under the hood, along the left fender a little back of the battery. There is a rail there with a number of things on it, including the headlight stepping relay. The rear-most item is the fuse.

The fuse is probably good, I've never seen one blown. BUT, the inside of the fuse holder goes to crap, crud and corrosion. Buy a new 30-amp holder from Radio Shack and figure out how to mount it, or a Volvo-type replacement from IPD for $15 or so + $5 shipping.

The beeping? There's a dinger for keys in-door open, or headlights on-door open, but if that's not what you're getting, I dunno.

Good Luck,

Bob
