Please help me find sender units to my oil temp gauges 200

Recently I have been very fortunate to locate and purchase 2 oil temp gauges. It has been quite an unsuccessful adventure locating the sender units to the gauges. I could go to the dealer, but roughly $50 for a drain plug sender is a bit steep. Does anyone know of any other sources for sending units to oil temp gauges, or could a different kind of sender be used? Thanks, George
