So here's what's happening with my "new" 87 240 auto trans.
Seems to shift into gear fine but it seems to take a bit to release, a bit sluggish going from 2nd into D also. If I'm more aggressive with the gas pedal it seems to shift a bit quicker. The fluid level seems fine, color is red, cool to the touch. Since I just bought the car though I have no idea when the transmission was last serviced.
