new gauges in a 145, problems?!?!? 140-160

sorry sorry =) 1973
o.k. i see these autometer gauges that look pretty nice they even have a new analog looking clock one which would be cool. I am just wondering it says the speedometer is electronic. and i believe mine is cable driven http://www.autometer.com/hp/2001_catalog/street_rod/27.html i am checking out the "programmable speedometer" there at the bottom, i might look into the beige ones too but color doesnt really matter at this moment in time. my main concern is would it be possible, to hook this up to my car. Without any godly modification. I am drafting up some various layouts in autocad so I can pack things as close together as possible so i can get more gauges in there. One thought is i might put some small ones up on the dash, in the same spot where the original speaker was up there since its completely dead and i have other speakers in the car anyway. Nothing like those horrid 5" tachs though, i would be trying to fit the tach into where the current gauges are =)
Also another thing i noticed is the resistance for the fuel gauge, i am wondering which one i would get to replace that. I need to check on mine anyway cause i think it may be malfunctioning.
good god this is probably about the 5th edit =) anyway the gauges i am looking at, i am looking to put 5 in there but i came to the realization that hey maybe some of these dont even have a place to hook up to (oil pressure, volt meter) will the water temp gauge be able to be adjusted from simply hot and cold to an actual temperature reading. so on and so on and so on.

thanks
john
