front end 200 1988

Depends on the angle of the hit. If the wheel hit head on, you're more likely to do damage than if the face of the wheel hits. How fast were you going? I'm guessing that you weren't going very fast if you were parking, so a front end alignment might be all you need. I hit a curb at 25mph, and destroyed a wheel and bent the suspension pretty badly. Is your steering wheel off center when you drive the car in a straight line? Get it checked ASAP.
