HELP!!! My car decided to take a leak!!! 200

another day, another mystery of the car. last night, when i left work, i noticed that something had been leaking out of my car. it had collected in a small puddle under the engine compartment and flowed out under the driver's door(didn't just pool like oil) it didn't seem to have a color, and when i soaked some up with a piece of paper, it BARELY changed the white paper a little brownish-yellow. (more of a tint) when i looked today, the puddle had dried on the coated asphalt parking lot to a darker, shiny finish. and when i checked at lunch, there was no new leakage. i tried to narrow it down to a fluid, but i'm stumped. any ideas would help me out a lot.
