120mph speedo-really??

my 1978 245 has a speedo that reads to 130, but i could never go that fast. i reached 80 a few times. that was about it. most of the other 80s speedos i've seen only go to 85.

speedometers don't necessarily reveal anything aobut a car's power. if you look at some old american muscle cars from the 50s-70s, their speedos will only read up to 60mph when theres no doubt they can reach far above that.
